The Ping’anbao Tuchengzi City Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Hebei Province.

The Ping’anbao Tuchengzi City Site is an ancient site from the Sui and Tang dynasties, located in Tuchengtou Village, Ping’anbao Town, Xinglong County, Chengde City. The Ping’anbao Tuchengzi City Site is among the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Hebei Province.

Ping’anbao Town: Ping’anbao Town is located in the northeastern part of Xinglong County, 15 kilometers from the county seat, bordering Yingzi District of Chengde City. National Highway 112 and the Beijing-Chengde Railway run through the entire town. The town covers a total area of 106.41 square kilometers, governs 13 administrative villages, and has a population of 4,406 households and 15,151 people. The arable land area is 7,379 mu, and the forested area spans 60,000 mu, including 16,800 mu of fruit tree plantations, with a forest coverage rate of 64.3%.
