The Cross Street Opera House is a cultural heritage protection unit of Hebei Province.

The Cross Street Opera House is an ancient building from the Qing Dynasty, located at Cross Street in Longhua Town, Longhua County, Chengde City. On October 20, 2008, it was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Hebei Province.

Longhua Town: Located at 117°43′ east longitude and 41°18′ north latitude, with an altitude of 560 meters, Longhua Town is surrounded by mountains and features a long, narrow stretch from north to south. It borders Hanmaying Town to the east, Lanqi Town to the west, Tangtougou Town to the north, and neighbors Luanping County to the south. The area enjoys 136 frost-free days per year, with an average temperature of 7.4°C and annual precipitation between 400–500 mm, classified as a temperate continental climate. Covering a total area of 290 square kilometers, it includes 25,472 mu of arable land, 304,500 mu of forestland, and 10,000 mu of returned farmland to forest.
