Mazon Tourist Resort is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

China Mazon Tourist Resort is located in the northern part of Datang Town, Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Hebei Province, 260 kilometers directly north of Beijing. As a national AAAA-level scenic area, it lies at the heart of Bashang Grassland. Relying on its natural ecology, it is a horse culture tourism town centered around a horse culture theme park, the Grassland Silk Road Performing Arts Complex, the Bashang Grassland Ice and Snow Carnival, a roasted lamb food street, a bar street, distinctive themed hotels, and shared travel accommodations.

Historical records indicate that during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, Datang Town was one of the important pastures of the Yan State. Kublai Khan trained his elite cavalry here before marching south to unify China. The Qing Dynasty established the Rehe Horse Farm here, known as Hailiutu (meaning “a place rich in water and grass”), where the most formidable cavalry—the “Rehe 100,000 Iron Cavalry”—was stationed. The first fortune of the Bashang people came from horse-leading and saddle-riding. Every household in Bashang owned horses, and horses were indispensable to their production and daily life. Today, the town has over 8,000 horses, making it the town with the largest horse population in China. Hence the name, China Mazon. Bashang Grassland has long been hailed as the “Back Garden of Beijing” and the “Cradle of Horse Riding for Beginners in Beijing.”

Wuma World Theme Park

Wuma World is a horse culture-themed park within China Mazon, located in the central area of Phase I of China Mazon. Covering an area of 230,000 square meters, it is the largest activity zone in the scenic area. It focuses on interactive grassland entertainment experiences and horse culture education, presenting the natural ecological scenery of the grasslands and the historical relationship between humans and horses through creative entertainment, fashionable commerce, interactive performances, and technological experiences. The park includes cultural landscapes, classic amusement rides, entertainment venues, and facilities, featuring six major themed zones: Tea-Horse Memory, Horseback Sentiment, Royal Pasture, Heroic Legends, Heavenly Horses, and Speed Racing. Major attractions include the Welcome Plaza, the Horse Gang Village, the Live Horse Battle – General Zhao Zilong Performance Venue, the Famous Horses Riding Field, the Royal Stables, the Cute Horses Riding Field... Wuma World Horse Culture Theme Park offers over ten different play and experience activities.

Tea-Horse Memory · Horse Street

Designed in the traditional Manchu architectural style and topped with a glass roof, Horse Street is an indoor cultural block in China Mazon. It is divided into three main sections: the Manchu Culture Block, the Modern Culture Block, and the European Culture Block. The Cute Horses Restaurant is located between the antique-style block and the European-style block, serving as a gathering spot for visitors where they can enjoy meals and participate in parent-child cooking activities.

Horseback Sentiment · Royal Stables

The Royal Stables offer a fresh, natural, and elegantly simple European-style horse stable environment, providing visitors with an up-close horse-viewing experience. Home to over ten rare breeds of horses from around the world, it is the stable in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region that preserves the most rare horse species. Getting up close to these world-famous horses helps visitors learn about, understand, and familiarize themselves with the history and habits of horses. These horses were trained in Europe for a year before being air-freighted here. The collection includes: Akhal-Teke horses, Arabian horses, Andalusians, Gypsy horses, Shetland ponies, Dutch Warmbloods, British Thoroughbreds, Polish Thoroughbreds, half-blood horses, Russian half-blood horses, Don horses, Mongolian horses, Ili horses, Shandan horses, Sanhe horses, and Northeast draft horses—over ten rare breeds.

Amusement Facilities · Heavenly Horses Zone

The Wuma World Theme Amusement Area consists of two main sections: the Fun Games Area and the Food & Leisure Area. Centered around the theme of “horses,” it creates a unique horse-themed amusement park. It features a variety of internationally leading amusement rides, including Wild Rush, Bashang Ark, Extreme Challenge, Survivor Game, and Extreme Speedway, among more than ten outdoor amusement facilities.

Horseback Sentiment · General Zhao Zilong

The live performance "General Zhao Zilong" combines strong regional characteristics and profound cultural heritage, merging the landscapes encountered during the tour with song, dance, and performing arts. Through the show, it portrays the bravery, loyalty, and passion of Zhao Yun from the classic stories of the Three Kingdoms period, showcasing the noble character passed down through the ages in Chinese culture.

Heroic Legends · Heroes Square

Heroes Square is located in the center of the scenic area, covering an area of 10,201 square meters, and is one of the iconic structures in the resort. It reflects the long history of horse culture and the close relationship between horses and humans. The central structure is the "Dragon Horse," one of the iconic buildings of China Mazon Tourist Resort. The entire structure stands 32 meters tall, with a base 7 meters high and the Dragon Horse sculpture itself 25 meters in height. Surrounding the Dragon Horse are four sculptures of horseback heroes: Genghis Khan, Nurhaci, Napoleon, and Alexander the Great.

Speed Racing

Go-Kart Racing: For adults over 1.5 meters tall. This is a paid activity. The track is 850 meters per lap, with a fee of 100 yuan for three laps. Up to four karts can be launched simultaneously. Children’s Racing: For children between 1.3 and 1.5 meters tall. This is also a paid activity. The track is 250 meters per lap, with a fee of 40 yuan for three laps. One kart is launched at a time.

Heavenly Horses · 5D Cinema

An original animated film created by China Mazon, based on mythological stories and enhanced with technology, allowing visitors to intuitively learn about the origins of China Mazon. It can accommodate 352 viewers at once.

Royal Pasture · Cute Horses Riding Field

The Cute Horses Riding Field features high-quality dwarf horses from both domestic and international sources. The horses have gentle temperaments and are suitable for children to ride. Children can interact with and ride these adorable horses, helping to build their courage and confidence during the riding experience.

Royal Pasture · Wild Rush (Grass Skiing)

A fun grassland sport that leverages the natural geographical advantages of Bashang Grassland to create a novel sliding experience. Different slope difficulty levels are designed according to varying skill levels, allowing visitors to gradually master various grass skiing techniques. The activity is not limited by climate or region.

Food Street & Bar Street

The China Mazon Food Street & Bar Street is a cluster of grassland-style eateries and bars, offering specialties such as whole roasted lamb, modern fusion cuisine, Manchu Eight Bowls, Bashang Grain Restaurant, Sister Feng’s Crayfish, themed KTV, and Single Horse Bar.
