Ghost Valley Chasm

Ghost Valley Chasm, also known as Ghost Valley Precipice, is located in Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, Zhangjiajie City. It can be encountered while walking along the Ghost Ancient Plank Road and is not far from Ghost Valley Cave. A very narrow crevice lies between two cliffs, as if cut by a knife, forming a naturally occurring deep ravine that slices through the rock face, extremely thrilling. The chasm below is bottomless; looking up, you can see the Tianmen Mountain cable car passing overhead.

Follow the opening hours of Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Peak season (March 1 – November 30): 8:00–18:00 (ticket sales stop at 16:30); off-peak season (December 1 – February 28 of the following year): 8:30–18:00 (ticket sales stop at 16:00).
