Last updated 2026-11-08 — Lobster Flower Tea is produced at tea plantations such as Yiwan Shui, Sancha, and Huangpo in Yongding District, Zhangjiajie. The tea bushes grow on mountain slopes at altitudes ranging from 450 to 1,000 meters, making it one of China's renowned teas. Lobster Flower Tea places great emphasis on raw material selection and craftsmanship. It is handpicked between Pure Brightness and Grain Rain seasons, using only intact one-bud-one-leaf sprouts. The leaves undergo six meticulous processes: fixation, rolling, shaping, tipping, baking, and sorting. This tea features a unique appearance, with flat, curly leaves shaped like lobsters, covered in silvery tips, and displaying a vibrant green color. When brewed, the tea leaves undulate, resembling lobsters playing in water. It boasts a rich, fragrant aroma, crystal-clear emerald liquor, a mellow and refreshing taste, and tender, bright green leaves. Drinking it leaves a lingering fragrance on the palate, refreshing the mind and invigorating the body.
