The Qian Family Old Courtyard

The Qian Family Old Courtyard is a cultural heritage site protected by Yongding District.

The Qian Family Old Courtyard is located in Hujia Tai Group, Honggang Village, Luotaping Township, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is a newly discovered site.

Protected area: 20 meters beyond the outer wall of the Qian Family Old Courtyard.

Building control zone: 30 meters beyond the outer wall of the Qian Family Old Courtyard.

Luotaping Township: Located in the southwestern part of Yongding District, Luotaping Township is 56 kilometers from the city center. It borders Wentang Town to the east and Qing’anping Township to the north, and stretches from east to west, connecting with six townships in Yongshun County: Runya, Damimg, Cheping, Sanjiatian, Shaba, and Taizixi. The total area of the township is 87.8 square kilometers, or 131,784.3 mu, including 16,000 mu of arable land. The township administers 12 administrative villages, 99 villager groups, and has a population of 7,800.
