The Sun Family Ancestral Hall at Shuangxiqiao is a cultural relic protection unit of Yongding District.

The Sun Family Ancestral Hall at Shuangxiqiao is located in the Sunjia Group, Sunyangping Village, Shuangxiqiao Township, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is a newly discovered heritage site.

Protected area: 10 meters beyond the perimeter of the ancestral hall.

Building control zone: 30 meters beyond the perimeter of the ancestral hall.

Shuangxiqiao Township: General Overview

　Shuangxiqiao Township is located in the southeastern part of Yongding District. To the east, it connects with Yuan guping Town; to the southeast, it borders Xiejia’ya Township; to the southwest, it adjoins Qijiaxi Township and Huochang Township of Yuanling County; to the west, it neighbors Shichangxi Forest Farm and the District Forestry Research Institute; to the northwest, it is adjacent to Sancha Township; and to the north, it connects with Jin yan Township of Cili County. The township administers ten villages: Leijia Mountain, Gaoping, Changxi, Dongjiashan, Miaowan, Chenjiashan, Shuangxiqiao, Sunyangping, Xushupo, and Ga jiaxi, encompassing 70 villager groups, two township-run forest farms, with a total of 1,749 households and 6,520 residents.
