The former site of the Red Second and Sixth Army Long March Command Headquarters (Baoling Guild Hall) is a cultural relic protection unit of Hunan Province.

The former site of the Red Second and Sixth Army Command Headquarters is the original Baoling Guild Hall. Initially built during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, it covers an area of 897 square meters. The architectural structure consists of three courtyards, with a memorial archway-style gate at the entrance. Originally, upon entering through the gate, one would find pavilions and a stage, flanked by side rooms, with a large central courtyard, and further inside was the guild hall’s council chamber. The entire complex is enclosed by high walls. The Baoling Guild Hall, also known as the Taiping Guild Hall or Wubao Guild Hall, was funded and built by merchants from Baoling Prefecture. It served as a meeting place to connect fellow townsmen and protect their interests. Performances were frequently held here, making it a lively hub. In the past, the guild hall operated Wen Zhi, Yu Zhang, and Chong Zhi primary schools in Zhijiang, enrolling local children. It also had a martial arts school where townspeople could learn combat skills and physical training.

In 2019, the former site of the Red Second and Sixth Army Long March Command Headquarters (Baoling Guild Hall) was approved as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit in the tenth batch designated by Hunan Province.
