Taohuajiang Town: Located in the county seat of Taojiang, Taohuajiang Town lies in the central part of Hunan Province along the Zi River, serving as the political, economic, and cultural hub of the entire county. The town covers a total area of 72 square kilometers, including an urban built-up area of 11.8 square kilometers, 29,000 mu of cultivated land, and 32,000 mu of forested land. It governs 30 suburban villages and 14 neighborhood committees, with a total population of 100,998, of which 47,722 are non-agricultural residents. The town is served by provincial highways, the Tao-Yi First-Class Highway, the Changshi Railway, and the Changyi Expressway.
