Zhifang Baiyun Cave

Baiyun Cave is located about five kilometers north of Xiachuan Village and features karst caves such as Baiyun Cave, Qixingtan Cave, Niubizi Cave, Huangdaoshi Cave, and Heilong Cave. Each cave has its own unique characteristics and presents a dazzling array of features.

Baiyun Cave is relatively large with concentrated scenery, surrounded by overlapping mountains and enchanting landscapes. Descend from the parking lot via over 400 stone steps, where ancient pines twist along the cliffs and clear streams wind around. Red buildings and green tiles stand in contrast outside the cave. There are more than 30 scenic spots including stalactites, stalagmites, stone curtains, stone pillars, and stone buddhas. Illuminated by colorful lights, Baiyun Cave resembles an artistic maze of sculptures.

Transportation

Baiyun Cave is situated in Zhifang, Jiangxia District, Wuhan. You can take a minibus from Wuhan to Zhifang. Typically, you can take bus 901 or other buses that can get you into downtown Zhifang. From there, you can either take another ride or walk directly to the cave. After visiting Baiyun Cave, there are vehicles available to take you back to Wuhan directly.
