Kaohsiung City  The districts of Maolin, Taoyuan, Namaxia, Liouguei, and Jiasian have suspended classes and work.

On June 4, the rainy conditions across Taiwan have eased, but the weather remains unstable, with a chance of thunderstorms throughout the island. Be sure to carry rain gear when going out. The stationary front originated from the southern sea area of Japan and extends southwestward through central Taiwan to Guangdong. Affected by the southwest monsoon, thunderstorm areas may experience maximum gusts of force 10; special caution is advised for ships, and maritime activities should be avoided. Temperatures will range between 25–31°C, with hotter conditions in the south—pay attention to the temperature difference between indoor air-conditioned spaces and the outdoors. Heavy rainfall has disrupted many land, sea, and air transportation services, with suspensions or delays. If you plan to use any transport, be sure to check in advance whether services are running normally. Mountainous area traffic may be affected by falling rocks or road closures, so extra caution is needed.

In the early hours of June 4, the front that had been moving southward with moisture began showing signs of stalling, interacting with upper-level airflow and showing signs of looping back northward. There is concern this may bring super-heavy rainfall similar to that of June 2 to northern regions. Pay close attention to rainfall levels and safety from the evening of June 3 through the early hours of June 4.
