The Martyrs' Cemetery of the Northern Expedition Army at Heshengqiao is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Located southwest of Hezhan Town, Jiangxia District, Wuhan. On August 30, 1926, the Fourth Army and the Second Route of the Seventh Army of the National Revolutionary Army launched a fierce attack on the forces of Wu Peifu defending Heshengqiao Bridge. After more than ten hours of intense fighting, they won the Battle of Heshengqiao. To commemorate the fallen soldiers of the Northern Expedition Army in the battle, the cemetery was built here in October 1929. The cemetery is rectangular in shape, facing south with its back to the north, and the base of the public tomb is inscribed with the names of the fallen soldiers on all four sides. The memorial pavilion is hexagonal. It consists of the martyrs' public tomb, the memorial pavilion, and the memorial stele. The memorial stele is made of marble, standing 6 meters tall, and bears the inscription “Monument to the Martyrs of the Fourth Army of the National Revolutionary Army in the Northern Expedition,” written by Hu Hanmin. On October 7, 2019, the Martyrs' Cemetery of the Northern Expedition Army at Heshengqiao was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
