Wangfo Bridge

Wangfo Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Yidu City.

Wangfo Bridge is located in Wuyanquan Township and is the only wooden covered bridge from the Qing Dynasty in our city. Originally built in the late Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the bridge is 18.5 meters long, 4 meters wide, and 9 meters high, with a single span of 12.6 meters. It was destroyed three times by mountain floods and once by flooding, but has survived to this day after four reconstructions and three restorations, making it a rare and important historical relic. In November 2001, Wuyanquan Township carried out another restoration of Wangfo Bridge, enhancing its grandeur while preserving its original appearance.
