The Panjiawan Tujia Folk Museum is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Panjiawan Folk Museum is located in Panjiawan Tujia Ethnic Township, Yidu City. It was built in March 2009 and opened to the public in November 2010. Covering an area of 2,400 square meters with an exhibition space of 480 square meters, the museum is divided into eight major sections: “Introduction, Tujia Residences, Origins of the Tujia People, Festivals and Calendar, Life Ceremonies, Production and Daily Life, Development and Construction, Care and Inspiration.” It has collected a total of 420 photographs and 398 various cultural relics.

Among them, there are 2 first-grade relics, 5 second-grade relics, and 21 third-grade relics. The museum primarily showcases the production tools, daily life items, and ethnic culture of the Tujia ancestors, highlighting the distinctive cultural traditions and lifestyle customs of the Tujia people. Exhibits reflecting Tujia folk culture include oil baskets, round-back chairs, spinning wheels, windmills, waterwheels, pestles, measuring buckets, stone mills, carved wooden beds, Tujia clothing, and more, as well as pottery, ironware, and bamboo ware. It is the first township-level folk culture museum in Hubei Province and the only ethnic minority folk culture museum in the province.
