World Sturgeon Expo Park

The World Sturgeon Expo Park is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

China's Yidu · World Sturgeon Expo Park is located in the Honghuatao Green Industry Park by the Yangtze River in Yidu City. Adjacent to the famous Three Gorges Dam project, it is just 2.5 kilometers from the Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge and 12 kilometers from downtown Yidu. It is one of the key scenic spots along the Golden Tourism Route of the Three Gorges and Qingjiang River. The park focuses on the rare and endangered species of sturgeon, integrating scientific research, species conservation, tourism, science education, sturgeon breeding and propagation, as well as product development. It is a national high-tech enterprise and a key agricultural industrialization leading enterprise in Hubei Province. Out of the world’s 27 surviving sturgeon species, 17 can be found here. The park has also developed and exported premium canned sturgeon and caviar to Europe and America. Visiting the World Sturgeon Expo Park allows you to get an up-close look at the most diverse collection of sturgeon species in the world, and experience the unique "Tianxia Model" that combines sturgeon industrialization, eco-circular water factory farming, and tourism exposition.
