Yidu City Museum is a patriotic education base.

Yidu City Museum is located at No. 29 Luyuan Avenue, Lucheng, Yidu City, opposite Wengfeng Park. The building covers a land area of 1,280 square meters and has a construction area of 4,100 square meters. Established in August 1987, it is a local comprehensive museum under the administration of the Yidu Cultural Relics Bureau.

The Yidu City Museum has a rectangular floor plan, consisting of two courtyards: the work area and the living area. From south to north, it includes the storefront, the main building, the staff residential building, and auxiliary rooms. The southern section along Luyuan Avenue features commercial storefronts and the main gate. The central part houses the main museum building, with the basement level serving as a semi-underground cultural relics storage room, while the second and third floors contain exhibition halls and administrative offices.

In 1993, construction of the Yidu City Museum building began, and it officially opened to the public in 2003. All buildings within the complex feature a modern design inspired by the Han Dynasty style, with a total construction area of 7,100 square meters and a reinforced concrete frame structure. The main building occupies a land area of 1,200 square meters and has a construction area of 4,100 square meters. The main facade of the entrance is designed in the style of a Han Dynasty stone watchtower. Upon entering, there is a lobby, with reception rooms and a shop on either side. Facing the lobby is a large screen wall adorned with a mural depicting the “Battle of Yiling during the Yi Ling Campaign.” To the east and west of the mural are the exits and entrances to the exhibition halls. The second and third floors of the building house ten exhibition halls arranged in a loop, with five on each floor. The middle of the second floor features a large atrium-style open exhibition hall with an open upper space and a glass roof. The office area is located on the second, third, and fourth floors in the northern part of the building, covering an area of about 400 square meters.
