Wuling Gorge Stone Carvings
The Wuling Gorge Stone Carvings are located in Group 3, Luoxing Village, Hekou Township, Yuan'an County, and were included in the fourth batch of Yichang Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units in 2011.
Luoxing Village: Luoxing Village in Hekou Township borders Shuangping Village to the east, Chenjiawan Village in Yangping Town to the south, Maduhe Village in Yangping Town to the west, and Huangzhu Village and – Village to the north. It serves as the southern gateway to Hekou Township and is the main access route into the area. The provincial secondary highway connecting Yang (ping) and Hekou (he) runs through the entire village. The village covers an area of 10 square kilometers, with 114 hectares of arable land, including 60 hectares of paddy fields.
Population Status: Luoxing Village comprises 4 villager groups with a total of 341 households and 1,128 residents, including 835 laborers, of which 490 work outside the village. There are 17 elderly living alone and left-behind children…… For more detailed information on Luoxing Village++
