Donggang Rafting is located by the Xinhe River in Gangkou Township, stretching 5 kilometers in length. Along the river, there are scenic spots such as Mandarin Duck Islet, Gangkou Xinhe, Qiangshui Cliff, Chaoyang Temple, Half-Moon Jade Belt, and Chicken Comb Pool. Especially thrilling and fun is the rafting section on Gangkou Xinhe. The township government initially developed the site in 2001, and currently there are 20 large and small rubber rafts, sun umbrellas, life jackets, complete kits, maintenance tools, and other equipment.

Gangkou Township: 【Gangkou Township】 is located in the southeastern part of Chongyang County, bordering Tongshan of Hubei Province and Xiushui of Jiangxi Province. The township government is 22 kilometers away from the county seat, and the provincial-level Baiyi–Jieshang Highway runs through the entire township for 24 kilometers. The area covers 248.8 square kilometers, with 13 administrative villages and 111 villager groups, and a total population of 29,000. The arable land area is 21,000 mu, including 13,000 mu of paddy fields and 8,000 mu of dry land. In 2004, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the township was 160 million yuan, fiscal revenue was 2.164 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 2,188 yuan.
