Qingyun Pagoda is located on Bowugshan in Donghu Subdistrict, Huangzhou District, Huanggang City. Also known as Wenfeng Pagoda, it was first built in the second year of the Wanli era during the Ming Dynasty (1574) and renovated in the Qing Dynasty. This octagonal, seven-story hollow stone pagoda features a pavilion-style structure and stands 42.4 meters tall. The base of the pagoda has sides 4.3 meters long. The height of each successive story decreases. The outer faces of the first story are inscribed with the eight trigrams in regular script, and the gateways of Qian and Dui are respectively embedded with stone plaques inscribed with “Literary Peak of All Chu” and “Soaring Straight to the Clouds.” Each level has 1–3 arched gates, and the inner walls contain 4–5 niches. A spiral stone staircase leads to the top inside the pagoda. (Third Batch)
