The Former Site of the Anti-Japanese Cadre Training Class of the 28th Red Army is a Hubei Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a classic red tourism attraction.

In October 1937, the 28th Red Army held two sessions of an anti-Japanese guerrilla cadre training class here, training over 300 Red Army and local cadres. By the end of the same year, the Youth Training Class organized by the Hubei Provincial Committee of the CPC was relocated here, continuing until March 1938. A total of three sessions were held, training more than 400 students. The site is a three-courtyard, five-bay structure in a traditional quadrangle layout, covering an area of 678.6 square meters, with flush gable roofs and tiled roofing, and a brick-and-wood construction.
