The Site of the Western Wangjiawan Revolutionary Base is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province and a classic red tourism destination.

Located in Xiwangjiachong, Xinmiao Village, Huhe Town, Hong’an County. In 1947, Liu Bocheng, Deng Xiaoping, and Li Xiannian once resided here, and the headquarters of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Field Army was stationed here. The current site complex includes: the former residence of Liu Bocheng, which faces west and is oriented east, with a width of 12.5 meters, a depth of 13.7 meters, and a total area of 171.25 square meters, built with brick and wood structure; the former residence of Deng Xiaoping and Li Xiannian, which faces south and is oriented north, with a width of 29.7 meters, a depth of 15 meters, and a total area of 450 square meters, also of brick and wood structure; the former headquarters of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Field Army, which faces west and is oriented east, with a width of 12.5 meters, a depth of 13.7 meters, and a total area of 137.8 square meters, a brick and wood structure building. This site complex holds significant historical value for the study of China’s military history and the Liberation War. (Fifth Batch)
