The Hujia Platform Anti-Japanese War Site

The Hujia Platform Anti-Japanese War Site is a cultural tourism attraction, a classic red tourism destination, a patriotic education base, and a national defense education base.

In 1942, in Goumeihu Village, Xiliuhe Town, the New Fourth Army of China engaged in a fierce battle with the Japanese army, eliminating over 200 Japanese soldiers and sacrificing nearly 100 brave New Fourth Army soldiers. This is the famous “Battle of Hujia Platform.” Over two hundred Japanese invaders met their end at Hujia Platform, and nearly one hundred anti-Japanese heroes rest in this land of valor. To honor the martyrs and never forget national humiliation, the Hujia Platform Battle Memorial Complex began construction in August last year. Currently, the site features a martyrs’ cemetery, an exhibition hall, a memorial monument, a memorial hall, and a square, serving as a base for patriotic and revolutionary heroism education.
