The Baofeng Liquor Industry Tourism Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Baofeng Liquor Industry Tourism Industrial Park is located in the middle section of Renmin Road, Baofeng County, offering convenient urban transportation and a prime location. Baofeng has a long history. In the second year of the Xuanhe era during the Northern Song Dynasty (1120), the county was bestowed its name by imperial decree due to its widespread fame for liquor brewing, Ru official porcelain firing, and iron smelting industries, as well as its abundant treasures and flourishing commerce. This is the origin of Baofeng County’s name.

Yi Di was the first person in China to make liquor, and the place where he produced liquor is today’s Baofeng region. The history of Baofeng liquor brewing dates back to the Xia and Shang dynasties, over 4,100 years ago. According to historical texts — “Lüshi Chunqiu,” “Shiben,” and “Strategies of the Warring States” — Yi Di first made wine mash and created five flavors in the south of the Ru Sea and the fields of Yingyi. The south of the Ru Sea and the fields of Yingyi refer to today’s Baofeng area.

Baofeng liquor has a long and enduring history. It has thrived for thousands of years, with its quality widely praised, production continuously increasing, and reputation growing steadily. The endorsement by historical figures has also been one of the reasons for the lasting popularity of Baofeng liquor.
