In the extraordinary year of 2012, while focusing on routine tasks such as organizing weekend training for members, knowledge lectures, referee training courses, and event registration, the Beijing Triathlon Sports Association actively participated in the 2012 Social Organization Evaluation work organized by the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau at the call of the Beijing Sports Federation. The entire leadership of the Beijing Triathlon Association placed high importance on the evaluation, and through meticulous organization, careful planning, and thorough preparation, the association was ultimately awarded the title of 4A-level Sports Association. This evaluation helped enhance the overall work level of the association, achieving the goals of promoting development through evaluation, improving quality through evaluation, and fostering excellence through evaluation. In October 2012, under the advocacy and support of the Chinese Triathlon Sports Association and hosted by the Beijing Sports Federation and organized by the Beijing Triathlon Sports Association, the “First Beijing Primary and Secondary Schools Triathlon Invitational Tournament” was successfully held. A total of over 100 athletes from 15 primary and secondary schools participated in this event. The successful hosting of this competition pioneered a new model for promoting triathlon among youth.
In 2013, the Beijing Triathlon Sports Association will continue to provide better services to its members and promote the sport of triathlon. It is hoped that members will contribute more ideas and actively participate in the association’s development, making greater contributions to advancing triathlon in the Beijing area. It is also hoped that leaders and media friends will support and pay attention to the Beijing Triathlon Association, providing more coverage to foster a positive environment for the sport. Additionally, it is hoped that this meeting will encourage more fitness enthusiasts to join the triathlon community, motivate more members to train scientifically, achieve fitness goals, and attain better results in the upcoming season.
