Hao Tang Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Hao Tang Scenic Area is located in Hao Tang Village, Wulidian Office, Pingqiao District, Xinyang City, Henan Province. In 2011, Hao Tang Village in Pingqiao District, Xinyang City, Henan Province officially launched an experimental village project. The project involved transforming local southern Henan-style residences according to the terrain, emphasizing natural ecology and harmonious living. It preserved the original site and structures without large-scale demolition or construction. This is a pilot area for new rural development, where natural scenery and newly built farmhouses are organically integrated.

Hao Tang Village is an eco-friendly scenic destination. The village covers a relatively large area, and every part of it boasts uniquely beautiful scenery. Although it has not been open to the public as a scenic area for very long, it has quickly attracted many visitors. Some come to see the lotus flowers, others seek a quiet place—all in search of relaxation.
