Fish Scale Waterfall

: Located at the Third Bridge in Huangbai Mountain Scenic Area, it has a drop of over 50 meters and a width of more than 30 meters. Below the waterfall is a pool covering an area of over 10 square meters with a depth of about 1 meter. The water flows down along the cliff, resembling fish scales as it gently cascades. Legend has it that the area once suffered from prolonged drought, the river dried up, and fish and shrimp were on the verge of death. A small white dragon living deep in the river took off his dragon robe to shield the sun, saving all the fish and shrimp, but was tragically sun-stricken to death. Later, heavy rain poured down, and the river flowed down along the dragon robe, creating water patterns like fish scales—hence the name “Fish Scale Waterfall.”
