Bangkok welcomes new world-class attraction: a massive riverside shopping mall

Bangkok is a shopper’s paradise for tourists, with its rich culture and vibrant atmosphere attracting many Taiwanese travelers. A new international-scale shopping mall, ICONSIAM, is soon to be added. With an investment of over 540 billion Thai baht, it is located on the Bangkok riverfront and opened in October 2018, covering a total area of 750,000 square meters, including 400 meters of riverside space.

The ICONSIAM mall is situated along the Chao Phraya River, boasting stunning riverside views. The riverside area also features historic sites, such as Thailand’s three major temples and the Grand Palace. The newly opened Golden Line of the MRT in 2019 provides direct access to the mall, offering excellent transportation convenience.

The mall encompasses seven highlight zones, where a variety of renowned international and local restaurants, traditional Thai crafts, specialties, art creations, and performing arts will be stationed, making it a world-class luxury retail complex.
