Xiangshan Temple in Anyang

Xiangshan Temple in Anyang is a cultural relic protection unit of Anyang County.

Xiangshan Temple is located in Xibaijian Village, Lunzhang Town. The Xiangshan Buddhist Temple Pagoda stands atop Tashan Mountain, facing south, and is a pagoda from the Song Dynasty. The pagoda has six sides and five levels, built with brick and stone. Currently, the top three levels of the pagoda have been destroyed. There is an arched doorway on the southern wall of the pagoda, and a stone-carved seated Buddha is enshrined inside. The Xiangshan Buddhist Temple Pagoda is simple yet elegant, majestic and magnificent. Standing at the summit of Tashan Mountain feels like being in a “heavenly paradise on earth.” It is a key cultural relic protection unit of the county.
