Tanghe River Rafting is located in Beishenbei Village, Shen’nan Township, Shunping (35 km northwest of the county town and 10 km from Longtan Lake). The rafting section on the Tanghe River in Shunping was added as a tourism activity during the first Peach Blossom Festival in Shunping. The Tanghe River originates in Lingqiu, Shanxi, and flows through 10 km of Shen’nan Township in Shunping. The water follows the mountain terrain, sometimes gentle and sometimes rapid, with abundant flow, and even in the dry season, the minimum flow never drops below 5 cubic meters per second—making it the best section for rafting activities on the Tanghe River. The riverbanks are picturesque, with well-aligned rice fields and crisscrossing paths, earning it the reputation of being a “Little Jiangnan” and making it a great destination for sightseeing.

Shen’nan Town: Shen’nan Township is located 30 km deep in the mountains, northwest of Shunping County Town. It borders Tang County to the southwest, Laiyuan to the north, and is adjacent to Yixian and Mancheng to the east, making it a multi-county border area. The Tanghe River flows through this township into the Xidayang Reservoir. The Shunshen Highway and Baolai Highway intersect within the township, providing convenient transportation.
