Longtan Lake Scenic Area

Longtan Lake Scenic Area is located in Longtan Village, Shennan Township, Shunping (45 kilometers northwest of the county seat), covering a total area of 50 square kilometers. With a vegetation coverage rate of 98%, the average summer temperature does not exceed 23°C, and the area enjoys a large diurnal temperature variation, cool climate, fresh air, and beautiful scenery. Longtan Lake stretches over 3,000 meters from south to north, winding and twisting like a divine dragon, appearing with a head but no tail. Within the lake there is a peninsula, which looks like a phoenix when viewed from above, known as Phoenix Island. The combination of lake and island resembles the yin-yang fish of the Taiji symbol — a masterpiece of nature. The lake water is clear and azure, with a pleasant temperature, allowing visitors to fish by the lake or enjoy the mountain views and listen to the waves.

Shennan Town: Shennan Township is located 30 kilometers deep in the mountains, northwest of Shunping County. It borders Tang County to the southwest, Laishui to the north, and is adjacent to Yixian and Mancheng to the east, making it an area where multiple counties converge. The Tang River flows through the township into the Xidayang Reservoir. The Shunshen Highway and Baofei Highway intersect within the township, providing convenient transportation.
