The mountain city of Laiyuan has a long history, simple folkways, and outstanding people. Laiyuan, the Spring City, is a unique gem of North China. It gathers the spiritual energy of Mayuan, Laiyuan Water, and Yi Water, with springs converging and gushing year-round, offering cool water in all seasons. Renowned national garden experts have noted that it “has the value of a world natural and cultural heritage site.” Cool City Laiyuan is a summer retreat.
