Baoding Dongfeng Park is located at No. 69, South Great Wall Street, Baoding City. It was first built in 1955 and opened to the public in 1957. With lush trees, green lawns, flowing clear water, and unobstructed pathways, it is a distinctive public welfare park.

The park covers an area of 229 mu, with 106,000 square meters of green space, 19,000 square meters of water surface, and a greening coverage rate of 90%. It is home to 80 species of trees, totaling 34,771 individual trees. There are three greenhouses in total. The park centers around a lake and trees, featuring beautiful landscapes such as rockeries, ancient pavilions, lakeside pavilions, and winding bridges. It also boasts distinctive attractions including a pine forest, peony garden, rose garden, bamboo grove, Chess Rhyme Square, and Valley of Fragrance. There are also children’s play areas. The park environment is beautiful with fresh air, surrounded by open woodland and grassland, making it an ideal destination for people of all ages and visitors with family or friends.

Using techniques of garden perspective and borrowed scenery, and drawing on its profound cultural heritage, the park skillfully arranges space to guide visitors' sightlines. The undulating, sprawling lawns are lush and vibrant. Scattered throughout the park are buildings and rock formations, while the lake surface is veiled in mist, with scenic views partially hidden and partially revealed, creating a refreshing and captivating atmosphere that makes visitors linger. The park also thoughtfully considers the habits of various plants, combining them harmoniously to ensure flowers bloom in three seasons and greenery thrives all year round. Towering poplars stand guard as the morning sun rises, and crowds of early exercisers ascend the steps, dispersing among the flowers.
