Anping Qifu Yuan Scenic Area

Anping Qifu Yuan Scenic Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

It is now a national AA-level scenic spot, with its core attraction being Qizhen Temple, originally named Shangzhen Palace. It boasts a long history and profound cultural heritage, dating back to the early Yuan Dynasty. Legend has it that it was built by disciples of Qiu Chuji, the revered master of the Quanzhen School of Taoism, and is a widely renowned Taoist temple.

The temple contains three courtyards, which are connected by corner gates. In the main courtyard stands a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree, and in the deep autumn season, its crown spreads wide, offering a magnificent view as if the entire area is adorned in golden leaves.

The central main gate is built with a gatehouse and painted red doors, alongside a side door used for daily access. The two main gates on the east and west sides are moon gates. The overall architectural layout is rational and well-arranged, with the main structures featuring high ridges, flying eaves, carved beams, painted rafters, and resplendent decorations. Existing stone steles from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties are of great research value.
