Anping Qifu Yuan Scenic Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Qifu Yuan Scenic Area is located in Anping Village, Lucun Town, Yiyuan County. Anping Village is a beautiful place, shaded by green trees and blessed with picturesque scenery, surrounded by lush mountains and clear waters. To the north lies the majestic and undulating Xiangong Mountain. A small river in front of the village flows year-round, and to the west of the village stands a Taoist temple built during the late Song and early Yuan dynasties, covering an area of over ten acres—known among the elders as the Qizhen Temple, which has been passed down through generations with the saying: “Qizhen Temple came first, then Mengyin County.” To the south of the village stand two mountains called Daqing Mountain and Xiaoqing Mountain. At the saddle where Daqing Mountain and Xiaoqing Mountain meet, the terrain is flat and spacious with a wide field of vision, facing Qizhen Temple across the river. Because the area enjoys fresh air, peace, and harmony, the local literati, using auspicious words and wishing for peace and safety, renamed the place Anping, which is now the present-day Anping Village.

The village is home to Qizhen Temple, originally built in the Yuan Dynasty and flourishing in the Qing Dynasty. Covering an area of more than 30 acres, the temple is surrounded by mountains, with exquisite rocks and lush forests. Springs and streams flow gently alongside, eventually joining the Xi’an River, creating an exceptionally serene atmosphere. The residential buildings in Anping Village are mostly in the form of traditional three-sided courtyards, with entrances on the west side. They are constructed using natural square stones combined with white lime, and the main walls are coated with white plaster, maintaining a complete structure. The doors and windows in the courtyards are all traditional wooden styles, and the gable walls of the buildings are covered with slate to secure thatch roofing and provide waterproofing for the walls.
