The Daixi River Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

The Daixi River Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Zouping County, Binzhou City. It is built around Yinhu Lake, Daixi Lake, and the Daixi River, and is classified as an urban river-lake type water conservancy scenic area. Covering an area of 97.5 square kilometers, including 8.12 square kilometers of water surface, the Daixi River stretches 23.6 kilometers in length with crystal-clear water. It serves as an important water source for Zouping County. Daixi Lake and Yinhu Lake are two small reservoirs in the basin. Within the scenic area, 32 water-retaining dams have been constructed on Heban Mountain, which can store 400,000 cubic meters of water. During the rainy season, the area presents a magnificent view of lakes connected to lakes and waterfalls linked to waterfalls. The scenic area also hosts the Heban Jiaye National Soil and Water Conservation Science and Technology Demonstration Park, surrounded by mountains and featuring unique landscapes. It boasts abundant wildlife resources, including swans, pangolins, ginkgo trees, and metasequoia. The area is also rich in cultural heritage, home to the Tangli Hermitage, known as the “Little Lingyan of Qilu,” a Buddhist temple, and the former study cave of the Northern Song Dynasty statesman Fan Zhongyan, revered as the “Hometown of Fan Gong.”
