Zouping Yong'an Bridge

Zouping Yong'an Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Zouping County.

Yong'an Bridge is located on the Xiaofu River in Changshan Town, running from north to south. It is a square-arched bridge made of bluestone slabs. Originally, vertical stone railings lined the sides of the bridge deck. On the eastern side of the bridge, there are three carved dragon heads, and the western end of the bridge pier is square-shaped like a ship’s stern. The water flows from east to west. The bridge deck consists of 105 stones. Because the original surface had deep ruts caused by ancient cart wheels, making it difficult to walk on, the original deck was flipped over for use, forming the current bridge surface. This bridge features an elegant design, solid construction, and high research and preservation value. In 1994, it was announced as part of the third batch of key cultural relic protection units in Zouping County (Document No. Zou Zheng Fa [1994] 98).
