Zouping Christian Baptist Church

The Zouping Christian Baptist Church is a cultural relic protection unit of Zouping County.

The Christian Baptist Church is located in Chengli Village, Daixi Subdistrict Office, facing south with its back to the north. It is a brick-and-wood structure built in 1900, featuring a double-eave Chinese-Western hybrid architectural style. The original roof was covered with small gray tiles, but now has flat tiles, and the eaves are adorned with brick-carved floral patterns. There is an arched gate on both the north and south sides, with windows beside the gates. The interior includes eight large wooden pillars and four beams forming a domed roof framework, with the horizontal beams inscribed with the words “The Lord Descended 1900 Years Ago.” On the west wall are inlaid the Zhong Mude Education Stele and the Memorial Stele of Mother Bai. The church has two levels of seating, accommodating up to 500 worshippers at once. In 2001, it was announced as part of the fourth batch of key cultural relic protection units in Zouping County (Document Zou Zheng Fa [2001] No. 64).
