Shandong Zhonglin Literature and History Museum

Shandong Zhonglin Literature and History Museum is located in the middle section of Zouhan Road, Handian Town, Zouping City. The museum covers an area of 1,700 square meters across three floors, featuring twenty exhibition halls and over ten series. These are divided into literature and history, documents, stone rubbing rubbings, calligraphy and paintings, pottery, porcelain, ancient steles, the Four Famous Inkstones, root art, folk customs, rosewood collectibles, and revolutionary-themed collections. The museum houses a collection of more than 12,000 items, including over 1,100 provincially registered cultural relics, showcasing the nearly 20 years of collecting efforts by its founder, Han Tongbin.

Shandong Zhonglin Literature and History Museum is the first non-state-owned museum in Zouping City to obtain provincial-level certification. In June 2017, it was designated as a Patriotic Education Base for Youth by the Zouping County Committee of the Communist Youth League. In 2018, it was included in the National Museum Directory. In September 2019, it was named a Social Science Popularization Education Base by the Publicity Department of the CPC Binzhou Municipal Committee and the Binzhou Federation of Social Sciences. Also in September 2019, it was designated as a Research and Practice Education Base for Primary and Secondary Schools by the Zouping Municipal Bureau of Education and Sports. In December 2019, it was recognized as one of the first Red Gene Inheritance Education Bases for Primary and Secondary School Students in Binzhou by the Binzhou Municipal Bureau of Education. Since its opening, the museum has offered free admission, attracting a large number of visitors and students for educational tours.
