Jinan Chengbo Lake Water Park

The Chengbo Lake Scenic Area is situated in the western part of Jibei Economic Development Zone, east of National Highway 220, and 2 kilometers from the New City Government Center Plaza. It spans 1,900 meters from north to south and 1,300 meters from east to west, with a total area of 3,650 mu, of which 2,150 mu is water surface and 1,500 mu is green space. Approved by the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission in 2005, the project was planned and designed by the School of Landscape Architecture at Beijing Forestry University. To the east, Chengbo Lake connects with the Ring City River; to the south, it links with the Xinyuan Street Scenic River; and to the west, it joins the Dasi River, forming a water tourism area centered around Chengbo Lake, interconnected with the urban water system and the Dasi River system.

Construction of the Chengbo Lake Scenic Area began in April 2008. After more than four years of development, an investment of 270 million yuan has been completed. Infrastructure such as greening, roads, revetments, docks, plazas, bathing beaches, landscape bridges, and power pipeline networks has been largely finished, and the landscape effect has begun to emerge, highlighting the distinctive feature of “blue skies, clear waters, green spaces, and the organic integration of residential areas and industries.” In 2010, it was designated as a Provincial Wetland Park and a Provincial Water Conservancy Scenic Area.

Currently, the Chengbo Lake Scenic Area is undergoing comprehensive development, with a total investment of 2.8 billion yuan. The main construction includes a park entertainment zone (mainly featuring large projects such as Dream Island Amusement Park, Theme Park, and Happy Base Camp, divided into children’s play area, youth area, family area, and commercial area), a water amusement zone, a hot spring resort zone, a business reception zone, a commercial zone, and a landscape residential zone. Currently, construction is underway according to the planned design scheme. Once completed, the entire project will become a high-end scenic area integrating leisure sightseeing, tourism vacationing, and business living.

Price Description: There is no entrance fee for the Chengbo Lake Scenic Area. The adult ticket for Dream Island Amusement Park is 160 RMB per person, and the child ticket is 80 RMB per person.

Rental of Imported Special Floats and Life Jackets: All water facilities use imported special floats. You can rent special floats, life jackets, etc., at designated locations within the park.

Professional Water Rescue Management: Advanced professional water rescue equipment is used. All lifeguards have undergone national-standard lifeguard training and assessment by the China Water Park Association, with nearly 100 professional lifeguards stationed throughout the park. The park has two professional medical emergency stations equipped with rescue gear and on-duty doctors.

5A-Level Showers: The showers and changing rooms are located at the park’s Welcome Plaza and can accommodate thousands of visitors for showering and changing simultaneously.

Rental of Electronic Lockers: For the safety of visitors’ belongings, Jinan Chengbo Lake Water Park provides over 10,000 electronic lockers for rent.

Self-Driving Guide:

1) From Jinan: Cross the Jinan Yellow River Bridge, drive 30 kilometers north along National Highway 220, and enter Kaiyuan Street in Jiyang to arrive.

2) From Dezhou: Drive along G104 National Highway to Jiyang County, then turn onto Jitai Road, drive 15 kilometers east to Kaiyuan Street in Jiyang to arrive.

3) From Binzhou: Drive along G220 National Highway to Kaiyuan Street in Jiyang County to reach the destination.
