Scenic Belt Along the Yellow River
"Willow Banks and Reciting Poems" is one of the New Eight Scenic Spots of Jiyang. To prevent wind erosion and fix sand while also providing citizens with a place for leisure, fitness, and recreation, Jiyang County has planned and constructed a scenic green belt along the 61-kilometer Yellow River embankment.
The green belt is designed with ecological and environmental protection as its core principles, featuring protective forests 200 meters wide on both sides of the Yellow River embankment. These include a mix of economic and timber forests, as well as evergreen and broadleaf trees. Strolling along the belt, you’ll enjoy the gentle breeze and feel your spirits lifted.
