Spring City Flower Sea is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Spring City Flower Sea is affiliated with Shandong Flower Sea Horticulture Technology Co., Ltd. It is located in Xinshi Town, Jiyang District, about 20 kilometers from the urban area. Established in June 2013, it covers a planned area of 500 acres. The area is designed based on the functional positioning of technology promotion, production demonstration, farmer training, and sightseeing & leisure, following a “six zones and one center” layout. After more than five years of development, it has formed a layout comprising “one park (Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Park), two axes (the Tuhai River Scenic Axis and the Provincial Highway 249 Scenic Axis), three belts (Premium Fruits and Vegetables Industry Belt, High-end Floriculture Industry Belt, and Qingnian Road Grape & Fruit Industry Belt), four zones (Agricultural Leisure Zone, Agricultural Wellness Zone, Agricultural Sightseeing Zone, and Agricultural Products Exhibition & Logistics Zone), and five industries (floriculture, vegetables, seedlings, fruits, and aquatic products — known as the ‘Five Golden Flowers’)”. It has been successively honored as a “Jinan Leading Agricultural Enterprise” and a “Top Ten Flower Enterprises in Jinan”.

Xinshi Town is located in the northwest of Jiyang District, 24 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Linyi County to the west and Shanghe County to the north. It administers five management areas and 77 administrative villages, covering an area of 99 square kilometers with a population of 38,000. The arable land area is 99,000 mu, with a per capita arable land of 2.5 mu. Provincial Highway 249 runs through the entire town.
