Jiyang District Museum

The Jiyang District Museum (Art Gallery) is located in the Jiyang District Cultural and Sports Center. With a construction area of 10,700 square meters, it houses nine exhibition halls including the Jiyang Historical Relics Exhibition, the Stone Carving Collection Exhibition, the Liutai Relics Exhibition, the Jiyang Celebrities Exhibition, the Nostalgia Memory Exhibition, the Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, and a temporary exhibition hall, as well as a youth activity room and an academic exchange room, featuring complete display and social education functions.

On December 21, 2020, the Chinese Museums Association announced the fourth batch of national first-, second-, and third-tier museums. The Jiyang District Museum leapfrogged the third tier and was directly awarded the status of a National Second-Tier Museum.
