Shandong Science and Technology Museum

The Shandong Science and Technology Museum is located on the east side of Quancheng Square. With the theme of "Humanity · Exploration · Innovation," it integrates exhibitions and participation, science popularization and education, production and collection, as well as tourism and leisure. It is a science education venue aimed at the public, especially young people, to promote the scientific spirit, popularize scientific knowledge, and spread scientific thinking and methodology.

The museum offers a variety of functions and activities including academic exchanges, science lectures, stargazing, 4D film screenings, the development of science exhibits, youth science projects, and science outreach vans. It serves as an important platform and window for spreading scientific culture and advanced socialist culture.

Tip: The 4D cinema is one of the featured venues of the Shandong Science and Technology Museum. It screens the adventure-themed film "Mysterious Island" in six daily sessions at 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, and 16:00. Each film lasts about 15 minutes.

Ticket: 20 RMB per adult; half price (10 RMB) for students. Free admission for seniors, military personnel, and other special groups.

Opening Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00–16:30; closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (except national statutory holidays).

Self-driving

Route 1: Take the Beijing–Fuzhou Expressway → exit at the west exit of Jinan Ring Expressway → drive east along Jingshi Road → turn north onto Qingnian East Road → turn onto Luowen Road → then onto Nanmen Street. The drive takes about 30 minutes after exiting the highway.

Route 2: Take the Jinan–Qingdao Expressway → exit at the east exit of Jinan Ring Expressway → drive west along Jingshi Road → turn north onto Qingnian East Road → turn onto Luowen Road → then onto Nanmen Street. The drive takes about 30 minutes after exiting the highway.

Bus

Take bus lines 1, 3, 5, 14, 36, 49, K51, K52, K54, 66, 70, 72, 89, K92, 101, or 102 in the city and get off at Quancheng Square Station to reach the site. Food · Accommodation · Shopping
