Eroded over the years by ocean waves and sea winds, Yongduam Rock (Dragon Head Rock) resembles the head of a dragon and is surrounded by many mythical legends. It is said that a giant snake, wishing to become a dragon, stole a precious jewel from the heavens. When the serpent was discovered, it was struck by lightning and transformed into the rocky dragon head we see today. Nearby, you can also find the Yongduam Sea Cave, where you can enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. The coastal walking path here is one of the most scenic routes on Jeju Island. The area offers not only beautiful ocean views but also fresh seafood and clear blue waters, making it a favorite spot for visitors.

Officially designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site in 2007, Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) is one of the 60 “oreum” (volcanic cones) on Jeju Island and the world’s largest tuff cone rising dramatically from the coastline. It was formed by an undersea volcanic eruption approximately 5,000 years ago. Watching the sunrise from the summit of Seongsan Ilchulbong is considered one of the top ten scenic wonders of Jeju Island. From the peak, you can also enjoy panoramic views of the vast grasslands and surrounding peaks, making it a must-visit photography spot for enthusiasts.

BIGBANG fans visiting Jeju should not miss the “YG Entertainment Town” at Jeju World Fantasy Theme Park. This is a premier hub of K-pop culture that combines music and fashion, featuring exclusive fashion boutiques, bars, bowling alleys, shops, and restaurants of YG Entertainment artists. BIGBANG’s leader, G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong), serves as the brand ambassador for the theme park. The GD Cafe, personally designed by G-Dragon, showcases his distinctive GD Style throughout.

It’s a must-visit theme park that includes three major themed zones co-created with the famous animation company TUBAn: Oscar’s New World, Doodoo Bug Adventure Village, Horizon Port, Spinning Park, and Happy Bear Restaurant. Is there a Machu Picchu in Busan? In the Saha District of Busan lies a humble mountain village. Due to the Korean War in the 1950s, people were relocated to higher ground, resulting in over 800 houses being built on the hills of Gamcheon Culture Village. Life here was tough for residents. However, through the efforts of local artists and residents in promoting the “Dream Busan Machu Picchu” project, the stair-like buildings, nestled against the mountain, have been transformed into a colorful, artistic wonderland. The Gamcheon Culture Village has shed its somber past and emerged as a vibrant, exotic tourist destination—dubbed Busan’s Machu Picchu or even compared to Santorini. Visitors can still experience the bold and warm-hearted spirit of the locals, as well as explore numerous creative shops to gain deeper insight into Busan’s local culture.

Located across from the theater street in Nampo-dong, Busan, is the famous Jagalchi Fish Market, South Korea’s largest seafood market. Established as a live fish market after the Korean War, it is a must-visit attraction for tourists. Here, you’ll find that most fish vendors are women, known as “Jagalchi Ajumma” (aunties). The energetic and cheerful calls of the Gyeongsang Province merchants reflect the hearty character of the locals. Coupled with the lively atmosphere and a wide variety of fresh, wriggling seafood, Jagalchi Market offers one of the most distinctive experiences in Busan.
