Jeju Island has an abundance of seafood, resulting in a wide variety of seafood dishes. The period from September to October is the peak season for whitebait. By winter, the fish has the tenderest meat and best texture. The freshly caught, still silver-bright white croaker can be cooked in many ways: you can pan-fry it, make it into spicy braised croaker, or cut the white croaker into small pieces and boil them in hot water with pumpkin, green pepper, and cabbage. Season with garlic and salt, add a bit of fine chili powder, and a light-flavored white croaker soup is ready to serve. It’s almost winter, the best time to enjoy plump and tender whitebelt fish. Hurry and set off now~

See these juicy grilled meats? Does it make your mouth water? People in Jeju love to serve pork when celebrating happy occasions.Traditional Korean Jeju black pork is naturally raised on grasslands. The fat is chewy, the lean meat is not dry, and there is no fishy taste. Grilled over charcoal, the rich fat becomes aromatic when cooked. After grilling, it is cut into suitable sizes with scissors and eaten wrapped in lettuce. The flavor is fragrant without being greasy and becomes more flavorful the more you chew. Starting with lighter flavors and gradually moving to richer ones, if you pair it with a seafood hot pot and golden fried rice, then only the word 'perfect' can describe it.

When in Busan, you have to try pork soup rice (dwenjang jjigae)! Pork soup rice is one of Busan’s representative dishes, and near Busan MRT Station, there’s even an entire street dedicated to pork soup rice, with each shop offering its own unique flavor. Why is Busan pork soup rice so famous? It is said that during the Korean War, when people in Busan struggled to find enough to eat, they used discarded pork bones, pig heads, and offal from the U.S. military bases to make a scrap soup rice, which unexpectedly became a delicious dish that has been passed down to this day.

Feeling excited? There's so much delicious food and traditional Korean cuisine waiting for foodies to enjoy. Don't just think about it — take action and start planning your holiday trip now!
