The Jinan Liberation Memorial Hall is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Liberation War in Jinan holds great significance in the history of China's wars. To permanently commemorate this great victory and honor the martyrs, on the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Jinan, the Jinan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided, and the People's Government of Shandong Province expanded the Revolutionary Martyrs' Exhibition Room at the Jinan Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery into the Jinan Liberation Memorial Hall.

The Jinan Liberation Memorial Hall is designed to have the characteristics of a historical museum. It serves as an important patriotic education base with local features, as well as a cultural and educational venue that provides the public with knowledge and artistic appreciation. The memorial hall is built within the Liberation Pavilion, located in the city center of Jinan. Backed by green hills, it boasts a grand architectural scale and a solemn, majestic design. Historically, it is itself akin to a revolutionary relic, and in terms of its exhibition content and presentation, it offers even more unique features.

Admission & Opening Hours

Visitors can obtain free admission tickets at the management office under the Liberation Pavilion. To effectively control visitor flow, the number of visitors allowed inside the memorial hall at one time is limited to 200. Groups with a larger number of visitors may make advance reservations.
