The Memorial Hall of Li Qingzhao is located north of the Shuyu Spring in Baotu Spring Park, Jinan. It was first built in 1956, opened to the public in December 1959, and renovated in 1980. The structure features traditional Chinese classical ethnic architectural style with a reinforced concrete frame. It includes a main hall, side rooms, and winding corridors, with a streamside pavilion, the Duicui Pavilion, and various rare plants arranged throughout the courtyard, creating a serene and elegant environment. The main hall displays a statue of Li Qingzhao, exhibits on her life, and various editions of her works. The plaque of the memorial hall and the couplets on both sides of the entrance were inscribed and handwritten by Guo Moruo. The horizontal plaque reads "Memorial Hall of Li Qingzhao," and the couplet reads: "By Daming Lake and beside Baotu Spring, her former residence lies deep in weeping willows; In the Shuyu Collection and the Records of Metal and Stone, her literary brilliance echoes the style of the Last Ruler." Additionally, the words "A Poetess for the Ages" are inscribed on the door screen. The exhibition hall displays works such as Li Qingzhao’s Shuyu Collection.

Li Qingzhao (1084 – circa 1155), also known by her courtesy name Yi’an Jushi, was a native of Zhangqiu (now part of Jinan, Shandong Province). She was an outstanding female poet of the Southern Song Dynasty.

Her father, Li Gefei, was a renowned scholar of the time who served as Vice Minister of Rites and later as Criminal Investigation Commissioner of the Eastern Capital Circuit. He was later dismissed from office for being listed among the Yuanyou Party members. Her mother, Lady Wang, was also well-educated and skilled in literature. Li Qingzhao received an excellent cultural education from a young age. In her early years, she lived in Bianjing and Luoyang with her father, where she became proficient in calligraphy, literature, and music. In 1101, at the age of 18, she married Zhao Mingcheng, a student at the Imperial Academy and the son of Vice Minister of Personnel Zhao Tingzhi.
