Daming Lake Chaoran Tower

The Chaoran Tower covers a construction area of 5,673 square meters and is situated on a broad white marble base, topped with copper tiles. It stands 51.7 meters tall and has seven floors in total, exuding a grand and majestic presence, earning the title of "the No.1 Tower North of the Yangtze River." The Chaoran Tower houses numerous "treasures," such as an 8-meter-tall "No.1 Wooden Carving North of the Yangtze," a nearly century-old "Herd of Galloping Horses," authentic works by leading figures in Shandong's painting and calligraphy circles from the 1950s and 1960s, and extremely precious ancient rubbings. The Chaoran Tower is a major component of the Daming Lake expansion and renovation project, primarily showcasing Jinan’s spring city culture, urban garden culture, and the traditional ethnic culture of old Jinan.
