Wulian Spring

Wulian Spring is located in the southeast corner of Jinan’s City Moat Park, west of Pipa Spring. The spring pool has numerous springs at the bottom, with five larger ones. Clusters of bubbles rise to the surface and burst open like five blooming lotuses, hence the name Wulian Spring (Five-Lotus Spring). Additionally, as the spring is situated within a stream and relatively far from the shore, it is also called “Stream Spring.” The spring water flows into the river, creating delicate ripples on the green waves. The overlapping currents form a unique scene of “flow within flow, water within water.”

On the southern bank of Wulian Spring lies Wulian Pavilion, which consists of pavilions, terraces, corridors, and waterside shelters. It is quite large in scale and uniquely charming.
