Jinan Baihuazhou

Baihuazhou is located south of the South Gate of Daming Lake Park and east of Qushuiting Street, formed by the convergence of Pearl Spring and numerous other springs. During the Song Dynasty, Baihuazhou had a large water surface and beautiful scenery, attracting literati and scholars to build residences here and live in seclusion. Historically, the area was home to structures such as the "Wanjuan Tower" and "Bai Xue Tower."

The Baihuazhou area is an important part of the characteristic landmark zone of the Spring City. It lies in the transitional area between the "Mingfu City" and the "Daming Lake Scenic Area," featuring abundant historical remains and outstanding cultural and historical value. The design focus is on protecting historical relics, preserving the street texture, continuing the historical context, organizing and protecting the spring water environment, introducing commercial formats, restoring the distinctive character of "springs in every household and willows hanging over every door," and developing it into a unique district suitable for cultural and leisure industries. This will enhance the cultural tourism value of Mingfu City.
